Who am I

I am a second-generation Pakistani-Muslim American woman who enjoys identifying, building, and implementing novel capacity-building programming for mental health users and their clinicians. I am currently practicing as a post-doctoral fellow in Decatur, GA under the supervision of Dr. Anna Trad.

My work

My work has centered on understanding how mental health service utilization and outcomes are informed by identity, cultural stigma, and lived experience. My strengths include identifying recurring gaps and development needs and then mitigating risk due to these gaps.

I have a particular interest in developing solutions for sustainable work practices for early career behavioral health professionals with marginalized identities.
